How on earth did this happen? I still think of myself as a young mom. I was telling a friend after church today that "I'm halfway to 50!" What the heck is wrong with me? Not only am I getting OLD, I'm getting STUPID too! Okay, what I meant was in the terms of THIS decade (40th year), I'm halfway to 50. Oh, whatever...I knew what I meant.I'm in pursuit of happiness and joy. I'll letcha know if I get there. In the meantime, I'm trying to be optimistic that one day I'll find it. Going to go sort tomatoes and fulfill my motherly obligations. (more laundry, cooking, and and cleaning.)

First of all, I want you to know that I came over here specifically to tell you HAPPY BIRTHDAY since I KNEW IT WAS YOUR BIRTHDAY! Remember that little "Getting to Know You" post I did over the summer??? Yeah, well I made a mental note of your day and wanted to surprise you and dagnabit you already had a post up. So I will officially wish you HAPPY 45, now!!! I will be joining you in the next few weeks as a 45 year babe. I still can't believe I am that old. But I have to say, you do look MAHVELOUS!
