The painting was going along just fine. I even painted the trim white and caulked around the toilet, shower, and the baseboards. All I had to do was a little edging and a few spots of rolling and Pat decided to come in and ruin my plans. There were a few "bad spots" on the drywall mud and he insisted they had to be done right then.
Well one of our lovely children used his drywall tools and mud and, well....let's just say things did.not.go.as.planned. It sounded like the Tasmanian Devil was in my bathroom cursing and slamming things around. When the dust settled I went in to see what the problem was- Pat scraped the crap out of my freshly painted walls around the light switch because he couldn't find the proper tools. He left it looking worse than those few "bad spots" he just had to fix. UGH. I was done. I dumped my paint back in the can, washed my brushes and put it all away. Now I have to wait for HIM to finish his stuff before I can finish painting.

Oh Connie, I would be so impatient. Soon...the end is coming. Can't wait to see it.
