things I love about AUTUMN in Michigan

...The colors here in Michigan are beautiful. I love Fall. I love bright orange pumpkins and colorful mums and autumn leaves scattered on the bright green grass. I love the smell of fall in the air. I love hot apple cider and donuts, caramel apples and the taste of a crisp Michigan grown apple. Days like today make me sit back and count my blessings. There are so many things to be thankful for. Especially line-dried sheets in October. *sigh.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
...give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
"Thankful" Josh Groban
Somedays we forget
To look around us
Somedays we can't see
The joy that surrounds us
So caught up inside ourselves
We take when we should give.
So for tonight we pray for
What we know can be.
And on this day we hope for
What we still can't see.
It's up to us to be the change
And even though we all can still do more
There's so much to be thankful for.
Look beyond ourselves
There's so much sorrow
It's way too late to sayI'll cry tomorrow
Each of us must find our truth
It's so long overdue
So for tonight we pray for
What we know can be
And every day we hope for
What we still can't seeIt's up to us to be the change
And even though we all can still do more
There's so much to be thankful for.
Even with our differences
There is a place we're all connected
Each of us can find each other's light
So for tonight we pray for
What we know can be
And on this day we hope for What we still can't see
It's up to us to be the change
And even though this world needs so much more
There's so much to be thankful for

Wonderful post and wonderful pictures. We haven't had any color change yet..summer is still hanging on as we have been in the 80's for the last few days. But I agree, I love Fall!

Oh what beautiful photos. I love fall too. Your fall is prettier than ours. Our leaves do not turn as bright. The rain falls and everything turns kinda brown after awhile. For part of it though it's pretty. Kathi
