Brain drain-o

Brain drain. Ever feel it? You know...one of those days when your head literally hurts just thinking about the simplest of things? My head is chugged full of gunk that needs a good healthy dose of Brain Draino. Call it mental exhaustion... which is equally as draining as physical exhaustion...but harder to recover from. Especially if it has been going on for nearly a month.

So today, being Sunday...I'm trying to rest my mind by casting all my cares upon the Lord. The problem is...there has been so many things that have been neglected (housework, paperwork, projects, etc.) that my mind won't give me rest until I get up and do something...so I decided I would paint a few of my pieces out in the garage. It may be cathartic to tackle something as mindless as painting an old garage sale find I picked up for Jen's studio. Doing something nice for my daughter might just be what the doctor ordered.

...Either that or a bottle of LEXAPRO.

Sunday word of wisdom:
Psalm 55:22

Hi Connie, This is beautiful. Thank you.

You mentioned you had also had a stroke. I'm so sorry to hear that. How serious was yours? Have you fully recovered?

I've enjoyed reading your other posts. I'm happy to hear your son's surgery was successful. He's been through a lot (you too, Mom).

I saw your laundry room. You did such an excellent job. It's so clean, neat, warm and cute.

I was wondering, what does your daughter use the studio for? Is she a ballet teacher?

Well, hope you don't mind all the questions. I hope you have a great rest of the day. Blessings, Kathi

Kathi, I am new to the blogging world so I'm not sure where to answer your questions...(here or on your blog?)But I decided I'd answer them here.
Yes, I had a massive heart attack at 38, organ infarcts 2 wks later and 2 yrs. later, at age 40, I suffered a stroke. I found out that I had a blood clotting disorder which caused me to be hypercoagulable. By the grace of God, I lived to tell my story.

Thank you for your comments about my laundry room. I laughed out loud when you said it was tidy...because if you saw it today you wouldn't think so. (hey, it's been a crazy week)

My daughter is opening a photography studio (hopefully next month)and she's been busy painting and preparing it for business. It needs a lot of work but the price for rent was so ridiculously low you'd agree that God's hand was blessing this endeavor.

Thanks for your comments. I enjoy reading your blog also.
