Random things I'm thankful for...

...I'm just sayin'...this grouping is not crooked on my wall, it's that I'm a crooked picture taker.

As I sit here in relative silence, finding myself a rare moment to reflect on life...I decided to put down some random things I'm thankful for today. Sundays seem to be a good day to do this.

Despite the fact that Jordanne and Josh argued over "who was going to drive" my new car to church... I'm thankful that they do go to church...but I let Jennifer drive. (Me, Pat and Jake went this morning.)

Ryan just walked in (on his crutches)...of course, I was curious as to why he wasn't at church (because he usually goes to 5:30 mass). Apparently he had lost his keys at his house and just found them. But I'm thankful that his mobility is improving and that he's learning to adjust to his (temporary) limitations.

I'm thankful for the obvious: health, happiness, a roof over our heads, food on the table, being blessed with a good husband and good kids.

...but today, the one thing I'm most thankful for is FAMILY...and the fact that all five of our kids are home tonight for a Sunday dinner. I'd better get busy whipping something up before they get back home. I think I'll make broccoli/chicken alfredo with a big salad and a loaf of crusty bread.
Acts 2:46
They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts...

You are very blessed to have such great kids in this day and age. But I think, your kids are blessed to have such great parents as well.
